USMC_COLLECTOR Posted May 20 Share #1 Posted May 20 Hello! With more people in my group getting flaks we decided to finally do a Huê city reenactment. Here are the photos we took, let me know what you think so we can improve for next time! Every photo here was taken on a vintage Nikon camera with correct color film. VNAMVET70 Posted May 20 Share #2 Posted May 20 When I served in Vietnam (1970-71), I used both black & white and color film. I could get some dramatic photos with B&W film. A really good book titled "The History of the Vietnam War"is a pictorial history of the war and half the photographs are black and white. By Douglas Welsh 192 pages. Highly recommend this book to all Vietnam Vets.

Rakkasan187 Posted May 20 Share #4 Posted May 20 Put the belt of ammo in the M60 if possible and give a belt to the gunner. Looks more convincing with a gunner having a belt. Leigh
USMC_COLLECTOR Posted May 20 Author Share #5 Posted May 20 The only m60 we were able to use was a cast metal one. Unable to be operated. I agree. 15 minutes ago, Rakkasan187 said: Put the belt of ammo in the M60 if possible and give a belt to the gunner. Looks more convincing with a gunner having a belt. Rakkasan187 Posted May 20 Share #6 Posted May 20 Maybe take a small belt of the ammo,, (10-15 rounds and see if you can wire them to the feed tray... Just a thought, but everything and everyone look good in your impression.. Leigh

Airborne_bro1944 Posted June 4 Share #12 Posted June 4 Good stuff! I plan on doing a late war Marine impression once I get a hold of a M55 Flak. Suckers are hard to find.

USMC_COLLECTOR Posted June 29 Author Share #19 Posted June 29 We knew a spot about an hour away that’s part ghost town, so we decided to go there. Just have to look and see where around you works best. 3 hours ago, sundance said: How do you find locations to do these reenactments?
USMC_COLLECTOR Posted June 29 Author Share #20 Posted June 29 Maybe I’m a pacifist? Not quite, airsoft 1911 with broken mag release. It wouldn’t take the magazine into the feed well. Good catch. 2 hours ago, Marshallj said:
