This is just wrong - for M-1 Garand folks

Just saw this on Ebay.  Seriously folks, if you need this huge block of plastic to load you M-1 enbloc clips, then you don't deserve to have an M-1.

So, those with a touch of arthritis in their hands should find another hobby?

As the philosopher once said: let them that don't want none, find pleasure in not getting any.

Again, it keeps changing the W and T and F to KFC.

Go tell a disabled vet “if you need this huge block of plastic to load you M-1 enbloc clips, then you don't deserve to have an M-1. ”

Steve,

I'll let you tell my Uncle who lost his fingers at the Chosin Reservoir that he can't fire his Garand anymore nor that he deserves it.  91 years old and still goes to the range at least once a week to fire his M1.  I guess you're lucky to have all ten fingers and toes and have the ability to do simple daily things without any handicap. Pretty cold hearted for you to make that comment. Must feel good to put others down who are handicapped....

A tool like this would help him considerably when he reloads his enblocs, but then again there are enough kindhearted folks that watch him fire on the range in awe and offer to reload his enblocs for him, and he and those folks are both grateful to one another...

A pretty heartless and calloused comment about non-deserving individuals...

I see nothing wrong with a simple invention that makes it simpler to load an enbloc clip. Do you still use a wash board or a washing machine...LOL

Its the last round that might be difficult for someone without the dexterity to

load the last round. If it helps, who cares? When I was younger, I used to look at old folks limping etc and think they must not have taken care

of themselves.... well, like all things, I learned. And now I understand. As I personally get older.....It just happens.

You get old and things dont work like they used to.

If it helps someone to keep enjoying their hobby, its a good thing.

Cheers!

To be honest folks, I didn't think about what many of you have said about some having difficulty with the clip.  You are right, though.  Definitely!!  I just saw this big ugly block of plastic and reacted to it.  I don't like big blocks of plastic....

Anyway, the points you made are all good.

Unrelated to all this while being somewhat related, are y'all starting to see 3D printed toys and stuff in flea markets? Seems that's the new thing right now.  Some of the designs look awful.

As for this what I question is the sturdiness and strength of the plastic itself.

We have a small desktop 3D printer at the office that nobody has touched in 6 months. I need to figure out how to use it one of these days.
