Here is a great site for aerial photos that go back in time along with topographical maps.

I have access in my state to lidar maps too.

But the above site is good.

In my area I use it to pinpoint old farms.

One area near here had a road with three farms along it in 1939,

Today its an empty field. You can see the traces of the road and where the farms were.

In my area I can see what was on the land in any given spot from 1939 until 2021.

Its helpful.
