12th AF Mechanics bringback German and Italian Helmets

Hi all, I’ve posted about the SSgt who brought these helmets home here:

 

 The M40 was picked up in North Africa and unsure if the decal is faded white or KM? The liner is unfortunately gone on the M40

The M33 is marked to an MVSN member.

Thanks Scott! Yes I was definitely surprised when he had that pulled out. Apparently his dad had an Italian field cap at one time and wore it post wore around the yard, that unfortunately didn't survive.

Love the Italian Helmet, I would love to find one of those, if you get tired of it let me know. My grade school English teachers husband brought an complete Italian uniform home from WW 2 but I have no idea where it ended up.
