Interview with Martin Agegian, a veteran B-17 pilot of Armenian descent

My dad just sent me the following video (from December 2023) about an Armenian American man, Martin Agegian, who flew in a B-17 in World War II:

Agegian is now 100 years old, and he grew up with my late grandfather in Michigan, eventually moving to San Leandro next to Oakland from Detroit, Michigan.

 

Therefore, I wanted to ask a few questions relating to Agegian:

• When did Martin Agegian enlist in the USAAF as a bomber pilot?
• How many combat sorties did Agegian fly over Europe?
• Were there any other Armenian Americans who flew B-17 and B-24 bombers over Nazi Germany?
• Which B-17 variant did Agegian fly in?
