Question about Carrier Air Group 6 patch

I wasn't sure whether to post this question in this section or the Can You Id section, but hoping someone might be able to tell me what the 4 leaf clover design represents? Patches appear to be from the late 1950's era. I found listings for squadrons assigned to CVG-6 during that time, but can't seem to connect this design to any of those squadrons. Kind of reminds me of a gunnery team or meet patch.

I would say the clover patch is CAG-6. The other patch is a gaggle patch with the CAG 6 design in the center and the squadrons assigned to CAG 6 are surrounding it. They both appear to be Mediterranean made during the 1955-1956 Med cruise aboard the USS Lake Champlain. Nice patches. Let me know if you decide not to keep them. Jeffro

Thanks, Jeffro. The inverted triangle design for CVG-6/CVW-6 was the only version I was aware of.
