WWI US enlisted collar disc engraved on reverse. First one I have seen!  Named to a dentist (who would likely have the tools to engrave) stationed at Camp Sevier SC. Neat!

Sorry! Started post and had to leave.  The obverse of the disc is lightly etched WORLD WAR 1918

The reverse is engraved (cant make out one word)

CA. Sevier SATC World War 1918
Dentistry 3 Medical Advisory Board April 30

Camp Sevier was located near Greenville, SC during WWI as a training camp.
Medical Advisory Boards were under the auspices of a little known WWI Federal agency
called the Council for National Defense. They were tasked with coordinating U.S. war
production, services and transportation.

The local S.C. connection to you is really cool, Andrew.
