I know this is a long shot; but I just came across this forum.

Anything belonging to or information about Jesse Hooper or J. J. Hooper as was scratched on his mess kit. His son's widow sold his items in a yard sale several years ago without notifying the family. I have been able to retrieve everything that was left in the family.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The sale was in Nashville, TN.

Most of our family still resides in this area.

Thanks.

I am a member and will be set up there. I've been looking for a few years and have had no luck. With the economy like it is now, there's always a chance someone will show up to sell something.
