Marshallj Posted February 29, 2024 #1 Posted February 29, 2024 The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force’s Restoration Hangar 4, Gate 22B (I-675 Gate) and several other buildings on WPAFB's Area B sustained damage after a suspected early-morning tornado touched down today, Feb 28.
Vahe Demirjian Posted February 29, 2024 #2 Posted February 29, 2024 From photos released by the 88th Air Base Wing, the F-104 with serial number 57-1322 isn't the only aircraft damaged by the tornado. A T-33 with serial number 51-6754 (the one previously displayed in Huntington, Indiana) and an A-26 Invader were also damaged. BEAST Posted July 19, 2024 #4 Posted July 19, 2024 I missed this story about the damage. Thanks for posting!
