kiaiokalewa Posted February 5, 2024 #1 Posted February 5, 2024 This 21st Infantry Regiment insignia was made downtown Honolulu on the island of Oahu during the 1920s. The shield portion of Wichman's logo was incised in the upper back half of the badge and the two superimposed charges are rivited in place. It seems that the 21st Infantry was the one and only distinctive type insignia made for any of the Hawaiian Division unit of the times. Perhaps a valid reason would be that once upon time their Regiments Headquarter was in downtown Honolulu for a period of time.
