decwriter Posted October 21, 2024 Author #26 Posted October 21, 2024 This 10th Air Jungle Rescue patch is different from the authentic AJR patches I've seen on the forum but it was intentional. The patch was made in the likeness of the only nose art picture of a 10th Air Jungle Rescue B-25 that I could find. Due to the fact that the picture was in black & white, I bounced some colors off of Miroslav that I thought the B-25 nose art might have and this is one variation he made. The color contrast is great in my opinion.
decwriter Posted October 31, 2024 Author #27 Posted October 31, 2024 Here’s a 7th Bombardment Group patch he made a while back.

Manky bandage Posted January 13, 2025 #34 Posted January 13, 2025 I do enjoy seeing these, inspiring me to get my tooling equipment and paints out and just have a go at it myself.

I’m glad you enjoy seeing these patches. Hopefully, you’ll dust off your tools and paints, and create some good examples you can post on the forum.

decwriter Posted March 20, 2025 Author #39 Posted March 20, 2025 I saw this drawing in January '25 after a new member asked about the origins of the unit and thought it would be a great patch for Miroslav to make. The member who posted it, @Madhukar, showed the drawing and @Cobra 6 Actual responded and shed some light on the unit history. Here's the link: Here's the end result. I selected the color choices and Miroslav opted for a green TO versus a gray one. Anyway, I think it's one of the more interesting patches he's made for me.
decwriter Posted April 14, 2025 Author #40 Posted April 14, 2025 Here’s one we collaborated on as there’s a fuzzy example emblem without good crisp lines. I haven’t seen an actual patch to work from. 60th Ferrying Squadron

decwriter Posted August 10, 2025 Author #47 Posted August 10, 2025 The nose artwork on this B-25 is what I was looking for in a patch.
decwriter Posted August 29, 2025 Author #48 Posted August 29, 2025 This one closely resembles an authentic AJR patch.
decwriter Posted November 12, 2025 Author #49 Posted November 12, 2025 I haven’t seen an authentic First Emergency Air-Sea Rescue Squadron patch but here’s the b/w emblem from the web. Another forum member stated the Morse code translated to F E A S R S which would make sense. I proposed to Miroslav to use the emblem as the basis for the patch, but without the Morse code as I didn’t have a color example to work from. Here’s the finished product in color.
