the red earcups are are MC114 which were never used in flight helmets as the aperture is too wide. The receivers must be glued to the cups to make them hold. There is athread I created about fake helmets and 90% of them are from the same seller.

Someone looks like lost 400usd:( wow...in this case th37 are not glued but have a adapters inside to fit bigger diameter of the cups and th-37...

That's just not true about Navy pilots in WWII not using the Red rubber cups for helmets.

Oh BTW I am not the eBay seller djjj.

 

I haven't seen his helmets on eBay, I don't go on eBay much anymore. Sometimes its tuff to tell if a helmet is made up unless you have it in your hands.
