bazelot Posted January 18, 2024 #1 Posted January 18, 2024 This guy has been churning out fake WWII Navy flight helmets for years. I encourage everyone to report this seller to Ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/126285477097
JungleJourney Posted January 18, 2024 #2 Posted January 18, 2024 What makes it fake? That would be most beneficial. Thanks
bazelot Posted January 18, 2024 Author #3 Posted January 18, 2024 the red earcups are are MC114 which were never used in flight helmets as the aperture is too wide. The receivers must be glued to the cups to make them hold. There is athread I created about fake helmets and 90% of them are from the same seller.
jerry_k Posted January 20, 2024 #4 Posted January 20, 2024 Someone looks like lost 400usd:( wow...in this case th37 are not glued but have a adapters inside to fit bigger diameter of the cups and th-37...
theflyingsweede Posted August 26, 2024 #5 Posted August 26, 2024 That's just not true about Navy pilots in WWII not using the Red rubber cups for helmets.
theflyingsweede Posted August 26, 2024 #6 Posted August 26, 2024 Oh BTW I am not the eBay seller djjj. I haven't seen his helmets on eBay, I don't go on eBay much anymore. Sometimes its tuff to tell if a helmet is made up unless you have it in your hands.
Marshallj Posted August 26, 2024 #7 Posted August 26, 2024 You can report it to EBay but it is your opinion unless you are able to present a case.
268th C.A. Posted August 26, 2024 #8 Posted August 26, 2024 it's a waste of time reporting anything other than prohibited items. Good luck!
