Tonomachi Posted January 21 Share #4 Posted January 21 According to the hallmark list this was produced by Emblem Supply Co., Inc., Central Falls, RI. I've never seen one with this hallmark before but it looks like a legitimate enlisted SF beret badge.
Billyh Posted January 22 Author Share #5 Posted January 22 Thank you for that. I was hoping it was ok billyh
KurtA Posted January 22 Share #6 Posted January 22 And if you apply the logic for the D22 hallmark (Denmark of NYC) for SF crests, the large font (like yours) is Vietnam era, while the smaller font is post Vietnam. So, good chance your crest is a nice VN example. Like Tonomachi, I have never seen this hallmark on a SF crest before.
Legion72 Posted January 22 Share #7 Posted January 22 Are the attachments screws? I have had a few screw backs from Bad Tolz PX over the years. Hard to find.
