sheffield steel Posted January 1, 2024 #1 Posted January 1, 2024 Anyone know when the lizard pattern of Indochina or early 50s changed from smooth cotton to the HBT of the later type maybe used in Algeria. Was there a designation or type/number to reflect this change.I'm trying to identify any major changes to the lizard camo jackets and pants between these time frames/conflicts..thanks to all in advance
earlymb Posted January 1, 2024 #2 Posted January 1, 2024 While Lizard camo was worn incidentally by US troops, you might find more answers on this forum's sister, the World Militaria Forum https://www.worldmilitariaforum.com/forums/ . Other options are https://frenchindochinawar.proboards.com/ and https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/ which also have a lot of info on Lizard camo.
