boxerdogi Posted December 9, 2023 #1 Posted December 9, 2023 A fellow collector posted this on Facebook…. Any thoughts?
Persian Gulf Command Posted December 9, 2023 #2 Posted December 9, 2023 Looks like WW2 German Dot M44. The colors are a bit off so would assume it is a mimic or reproduction of the original. Or, may be an original?
Wharfmaster Posted December 9, 2023 #4 Posted December 9, 2023 The wife is all in green too. My guess she made the suit as a joke from cloth with tiny flowers. W
manayunkman Posted December 9, 2023 #5 Posted December 9, 2023 That’s a very busy dot pattern but that’s what I thought too WW2 SS. My old buddy Ray Wood had a Polaroid photo of his friend in Vietnam wearing an SS camo jump smock as he sit on his personnel carrier.
HistoricalConFLIX Posted December 9, 2023 #6 Posted December 9, 2023 I remember Ray Wood very well! I ran into him again at the Pomona Great Western Show about 1999-2000? Last time I think that I had previously seen him was in San Diego, when he took me to a Sushi restaurant for the first time (while I was still in HS). He said: he "...had to have sushi and saki, to close a trade deal." lol

The last time I talked to Ray was the early 2000s, he was living south of the border and no longer collected and then he tried to buy something I cherished for cheap. Some things never change. I apologize for high jacking the thread.
