where ist he best place to find accurate tiger stripe Pattern ? I've been trying to find accurate tiger stripe camouflage the captain willard style version which has the more green base with wider stripe spacing

Go to Ebay and do a search for Tiger Stripes. There are a few Asian sellers who are doing some pretty decent repros of Vietnam era Tiger Stripes.

thanks but a lot of their tiger stripe is the really close together stripes which is a different version of tiger stripe then what was used in apocalypse now

that particular print is called a few different things by collectors - the classic pattern, John Wayne (some people do NOT like this name), Okinawa pattern. It is considered the best know tiger stripe print. 

 

It does come up on ebay, but it is quite expensive now if you are looking to larger sizes. Approx $400-$600 for the standard trousers or shirts in good condition.

 

There are repros about. Not sure if Tiger Stipe Productions is still going, they used to make an ok version.

My recommendation would be SOFMILITARY. I almost bought a set from them, but a set came up on the forum and I picked it up instead. I can’t speak for every detail of the print, but I’ve bought a set of reproduction jungle fatigues and they do a fine job. The pockets were a bit small on my jungle fatigue jacket, but their tiger stripes look a lot more accurate. They are also cheaper than Moore militaria, less than $200 a set. I would only buy WWII USMC from SMWHOLESALE myself. So I would buy from SOF personally.
