Please Help ID Marines in this 1898 photo of the First Battalion

Found this photo on line but the caption only mentions 18 of the 20 Marines shown and there is no indication of who is unknown so I can't trust the caption to ID each person.  It is an august group of men as 9 or more would go on to receive the Medal of Honor and or the USMC Brevet Medal. The only two I can ID are Butler and Hunnington. I would appreciate any help in identifying the men in the photo.

 

For the sake of simplicity in identifying the men, lets number the standing 1 through 12 from left to right, and the sitting from 13 to 20 left to right.

 

The caption to the photograph reads:
