Pineapple Grenade Replacement Fiber Fuze Washers

For those of you who may have been searching unsuccessfully for one or more of the fiber seal rings for inert pineapple grenade fuzes, I can suggest for your consideration a somewhat satisfactory replacement.  For anyone not familiar with McMaster-Carr, it is a huge hardware company that sells any hardware item you can think of.  The catalog that I brought home when I retired 15 years ago was #105.  It is 3,120 pages!  I no longer have access to the more recent catalogs, but the company’s website is www.mcmaster.com.  They sell fiber washers in packs of 100 that are 1mm thick x 14mm ID x 18mm OD.  It would be more desirable if the OD was a little larger, but they are worth considering until the real thing can be found or an accurate reproduction becomes available in the future, if ever.  I have attached two photos showing one of these fiber washers installed on aa M200A1 fuze.

I forgot to include the McMaster-Carr item number for the fiber fuze seal washers.  They are Item #90449A240.

268th C.A., I may not have made myself clear with respect to the fiber washers.  I ordered a 100-piece package of these washers 2 weeks ago.  They arrived 2 days later.  I had merely mentioned that the last catalog I had was about 20 years old. Of course, it is not totally up-to-date, but it is still an excellent reference for me. McMaster-Carr is an excellent outfit to deal with.  They are in Atlanta.  Sorry for the confusion!
