WW2 rate patch?

is this a WW2 era US Navy Patch? What unit is this?

It is an Equipment Operator.  It is not a WWII rate, as the Equipment Operator came out after the war and I can look up the date when I get home.  Also, the construction of the rate is also postwar, indicated by the polyester bobbin thread.  Hope that helps - Jeff
