Wanted to give you guys a heads up about the hotel situation in Louisville. I looked to book my normal hotel and the prices have tripled in the area. Seems they have a tractor pull and cheerleader event at the Louisville Exposition that same weekend. I'm going to have to stay a ways out and drive in.

I managed to get mine last week at the Crown Plaza for the convention rate of $139.

 

Last year I procrastinated and it cost me $$

Thanks Sean - My 'preferred' hotel was booked, too, but the Crowne Plaza was still open - be sure to use the OVMS code!

The Crown Plaza has no more OVMS rooms.

There is a cluster of hotels maybe 15 minutes south of the Expo Center in Sheperdsville. If you don't mind a short hop to and from, it's a nice place. Good rates too. I am locked in around $129 a night. I can live with that. I used to stay much closer but like the rest of you, the prices went through the roof!
