Sadly, this has staining on one sleeve and one side of the button flap. But I just don't find these in the wild, so I grabbed it. One main flap button and one pocket button are gone. The rest are here. Named inside to "C.A. BENSON". The buttons are Horstman, Phila. I was just hoping to get confirmation that this is indeed a SAW period jacket. Thanks

I don't think it is Span Am War, I believe it is a P1912 USMC summer pattern. Good luck.

Here is a good discussion on the SAW/Philippine Marine jacket-I have been beat up a bit for using the term “tunic”. A good thread regardless,
