These patches were all part of a bunch of US militaria. There was a large bag of patches that covered everything from WWII and Korea to Desert Storm. I was able to find most of them fairly quickly but I either missed these ones or they weren't in my references. I'm not sure about any of them but they might be very common and obvious to some of the knowledgeable members on here.

darn, that was quick!  So just #3 to hunt down. Not sure how the Costa Rica Civil Guard found its way into US militaria!

There is a guy that's listed the same (though much worse for wear) patch on eBay as Japanese Army WWII, but I can't find any IJA patches or sleeve insignia that match up with it. Maybe someone else knows?

Mr. Bushido

It's my first time seeing this patch.

However, I know that this emblem indicates a Japanese civil defense organization.

This is an organization called the "【大日本警防教会】Civil defense association(?)" that existed in Japan during WW2.

That's some great info Mr. Bushido, and spot on it seems. A Google search of it pulled up plenty of ribbons, medallions, and pins with the same designs, though no patches, so it seems chickenlord here has a pretty rare one indeed, especially in such good condition! Nice!

Thanks everyone, it does seem to be an unusual one. There's a black paper covering still on the back covering a middle layer, both of which are intact. Do you have a translation for the name @Mr. Bushido? Google translate and the likes are giving me something along the lines of Police Church but I'm sure that is a very garbled version of the actual meaning.
