twines Posted August 13, 2023 #1 Posted August 13, 2023 Hi, I acquired a 1896 Krag. The Archival Research out of New Market MD has documented the gun to Frank Hager 4th PA Volunteer Infantry Co. B. The 4th PA wan involved in actions around the towns of Arroyo and Guayama, Puerto Rico. On Aug 6th 1898 they turned in there trapdoors for the Krags. I am looking first for any information documents, pictures, etc on the 4th, particulary Co. B. (I've read the online history the Spanish American War Centennial site). I am putting together appropriate artifacts 100 round cartridge belt. canteen, period uniforn devices and patches for the 4th PA etc. that may be out there. Looking forward to uncover more info or artifacts. Tom W.
