Mr. Bushido Posted August 13 Share #5 Posted August 13 Good condition! As far as I can see from the photo, it looks like a lot of mouton on the edge of the jacket remains. Is the very clear AAF decal original?
warguy Posted August 13 Share #6 Posted August 13 Nice looking two tone (1942-1943) vintage B3. Who is the maker? Size 38 is too small only if someone wants to wear it and I am here to say wearing an original B-3 jacket is only asking for trouble. The shearling on these should really be treated with extreme caution or you are just asking for it. I like the display as is, and it should look just the same for the next generation to enjoy if cared for properly. Thanks for sharing.
Gately Posted August 13 Author Share #7 Posted August 13 Ever since I purchased my B-3 it went onto a torso mount. I don’t wear it , mess with it, or handle it . And yes my son will inherit my collection once I move on. He said he probably will donate it to a ww2 museum .
warguy Posted August 13 Share #8 Posted August 13 You are a smart collector! Personally, I think the size 38 jackets fit perfectly on the dress forms and would rather have one in that size than the larger sizes myself.
