kfields Posted August 9 Share #1 Posted August 9 Found this on the Route 127 garage sale hunt this year near Camden, Ohio. I bought it for a couple bucks as it looked interesting. Unfortunately seller had no info where it was found. Barrel is about 3 1/2 inches. Pistol looks French of Lefaucheaux(spelling?) style. Any thoughts? USCapturephotos Posted August 9 Share #2 Posted August 9 Definitely one of the pin fire varieties that were popular before and during the Civil War. Cool piece! Paul
kfields Posted August 9 Author Share #3 Posted August 9 Now if the seller had been more savvy, he could have sold it is a ground find at a farm that saddled the route Morgan's Raiders took (about 20 miles away) during the War and coughed out more $$$'s! 😁

danimal03 Posted August 12 Share #6 Posted August 12 hello, I believe your relic pistol is an 1870's-ish Belgian made pinfire with folding trigger. you can see the line on yours where it folds. If you google this you will see exact non-dug images. I hope this helps. cheers!
