Yancy Irwin Posted August 9, 2023 #1 Posted August 9, 2023 I was searching through my trunk on family heirlooms looking for my great x3 grandfathers post civil war pics in a old soldiers home. I could not find that picture but instead found 3 papers belonging to my great grandfather Fletcher Irwin. His enlistment paper from company G 3rd regiment Kentucky Volunteers 1888-89. the back of this page had his service record. He served in Cuba during the Spanish American war. I found a wartime furlough paper for leave in Havana Cuba.also found a discharge paper from 1926 from a veterans hospital.
