WW1 Dental Chest restoration

I picked up this US Army Medical Dept Dental Instrument Chest last year. The entire inner drawer system was missing so after an internet search, I found what it is supposed to look like and got busy reproducing the drawers. Every board was made from scratch. It's all oak. The last picture is of the original.

Wow very impressive restoration! I really like the finish on the drawers, I kinda have a soft spot for dark glossy wood.😁

Wow!  Well done!

I have an appreciation for just how much work, research, and planning was needed to do this, so my hat's off to you, sir!

I'd love to hear more about the details of the work you did.  A true labor of love.
