Hello! I just bought a TAP 47/52 paratrooper uniform for use for my Vietnam war advisor impression. I want to patch it out and I need some help. I’ve seen originals with all OD patches, however I want to do an earlier time frame and I want to use a mix of different patches. Here’s the ones I am planing to use. Now I’m wondering if I should use the black ARVN silk wings or the OD… and if I should use country made insignia or us made. Whatever would work for an advisor for 1966.

Thanks!

2LT Lewis already has a Combat Infantry Badge? Is he prior enlisted?

Every patched jacket for an airborne advisor I’ve seen has a CIB… so I’m going with second tour but right out of OCS and the beginning.
