Date of these Air Force Patches? 44th Tactical Fighter and 18th Equipment Maint Sq.

I got these patches together and haven't been able to put a date on these. I was thinking maybe Vietnam era for the 18th, although not sure for the 44th. Neither patch glows under a blacklight.

These probably date mid to late 60s. The one on the left is actually the 18th Field Maintenance Squadron. Later, in the late 70s, they became the 18th EMS using the same design. The 44th TFS is from the F-105 era with that red border. This changed to black around the time they got the F-4. Both probably made on Okinawa, nice set.

Thank you so much for that information Randy. It's incredible how much info can be taken from these patches if you know these things.
