Unknown tab with number - ID 3rd Missile Command

can you help me  identifying this patch?

 

I think it's the tab of another patch, but I don't know what the "3" means or what patch it would correspond to.

I believe the four numbered US Army Missile Commands were located with one each in Korea, Italy, Fort Bragg, and Ft. Hood.

3rd Missile Command is the unit I was assigned to after finishing my tour to Libya and Iran in 1962.  As my transfer date was approaching, the Cuban Missile Crisis broke out between the US and USSR as we went to DEFCON 2. My transfer was put on hold until the situation was resolved, which was very soon.  When I arrived at Ft. Bragg in November, 3rd Missile Command had already been deployed to Florida for the crisis.  Eventually, they returned and I joined them.
