I just picked this up at the Wilmington show and got a couple of requests for close up pictures. It’s a Japanese Special Naval Landing Forces Type 90, with remains of the yellow anchor on the front. Along with a partial Japanese rising son flag. There are a total of 4 what I guess are islands painted around the helmet, only one of which is legible that being Guam. With the most important USS St Louis painted on the brim. Possible battle damage crack in the dome. Sadly I have no name to go with this helmet. I know these trophy helmets are hard to come by especially Japanese ones. If anyone can add anything to the story or best ways to preserve what is left I would really appreciate it. As always thanks for your input! and if you want close ups let me know. - ZachIMG_4510.jpeg.3b9952083473ffc8a4347c6c121862c3.jpegIMG_4511.jpeg.73547f66550c9bd254c048d6a84ca3d2.jpegIMG_4512.jpeg.e90ac06770347d07ce68890dd24e722b.jpegIMG_4513.jpeg.913df08f92ed95ebf029763dbdab3535.jpegIMG_4507.jpeg.99ee08ae608269985b3e5939c8a1e7a4.jpegIMG_4508.jpeg.b6bdfa340c12b43df711fbd84947e7f1.jpeg
