I snagged this grouping off eBay for a good price. Colonel Crismon served in SF and did 5 tours in Nam. One assignment was CRT Command Readiness Team of Headquarters 5th Special Forces Group Airborne. I have attached the article from a Green Berets magazine. Also included in the group in a picture of the then Major with a group of Vietnamese counterparts. A photo of a SF camp and his medals plus military records. The program in which he was awarded the Legion of Merit along with a copy of the citation. I'm still trying to figure out what all his medals are. It would be nice to know something about a piece of parachute material that was with the group. His Beret with an old style pin was icing on the cake! Thanks for checking out this amazing grouping!

Did not want to advertise his rank to a possible enemy sniper?

Thanks for the comments guys! I found a dealer selling another plaque issued to the then Major but he's asking $600 for it. That's a little less then I paid for the whole grouping. I was going to email him with a offer.

Do it, great purchase, I feel you got a great buy. I would have jumped on it for that.

Thanks! Yes, it was a good buy for sure. It was on eBay started at $799 and he kept reducing it. When it hit $650 I grabbed it.
