Thought I would dig some out of the box.

Great patch.  This is the Squadron patch from the invasion of Iraq in 2003.  Later on, this was known as OIF I.  The four different characters represent the detachments from various Squadrons that made up the ACE (Air Combat Element), which made this a reinforced (REIN) squadron. 

 

The tiger was from the "Flying Tigers" of HMH-361.  This was the Heavy lift / CH-53E Helicopters  I was on that detachment. 

 

The Scorpion from "Stingers" of HMLA-267,  They flew the UH-1N Hueys and AH-1W Cobras

 

The Tomcat from our AV-8B  Harrier Det

 

The Winged Horse or Pegasus was the main Squadron HMM-161 that flew the CH-46
