DiGilio Posted March 12, 2009 Share #1 Posted March 12, 2009 Ive had this pack of cigarettes for a while. I dont know where I originally got them but they appear to be cigarettes intended to be issued to South Vietnamese military personnel, not to the public. Below is the best translation I got. Has anyone seen something like this? Quân-Lực Việt-Nam = Armed Forcces Vietnam Quyết Tâm = Determined Bảo vệ đất nước = To defend one's country Chi có một cách giúp nước thiết thực: = Only one way to help countries set Làm nhiệm vụ Quân dịch = Work tasks and Military điếu thuốc = cigarette 20 sản xuất tại hãng thuốc lá = production in tobacco manufacturers J. BASTOS - SAIGON cho quân tiếp vụ = for more services thuốc hút miễn thuế = Free outdoor parking tax chỉ được phép tiêu thụ trong phạm vi quân lực Việt Nam cộng hòa = only be allowed to consumption within the military forces in Vietnam, Republic cấm bản cho công chúng = prohibit to the public quân tiếp vụ phát hành = military services to release Quân tiếp-vụ = More military-service
Mr-X Posted March 12, 2009 Share #2 Posted March 12, 2009 Very interesting thanks for sharing. I have a South Vietnamese Armed Forces Beer Bottle. I'll have to post some pics of it.
