Mini medals WWI grouping

Hello gentlemen,  picked this up the other day.  Not finding a whole lot of info on mini medals.  Any info and value would be great.  Thanks Riley

Not sure of the current market value but what you have is Mexican border service, New York State Mexican border service, WWI victory medal, New York State WWI service medal.

Being able to put a name with this would add value along with any related material to the recipient.

 

As it is it is a nice basic set for a NY National Guardsman who went to the Mexican Border in 1916 but did not leave the US in WWI - However without attribution I see this as $75 to 85 because of its nice condition.

 

Welcome to the USMF - I see you are from GA - North or South GA - I am in Signal Mountain TN approximately 20 minutes from Ringgold GA.

Savannah is a nice town but I have not been able to find too many medals there!!

RileyB - I assume it was you that listed this group onto Ebay recently? If so, then well done on a very good price realised. If you didn't sell this one, then an exact set went on the market and fetched a very good price.

I saw the group on Ebay and recognised it straight way from this thread. Well done on the price you got for it, that was much more than I was expecting. I didn't think that it was such an unusual grouping, but I guess it must be.
