1913 Gettysburg Reunion Badge - Virginia Infantry Veteran

Good week for confederate items on eBay!

For the 50th anniversary of Gettysburg Virginia commissioned badges for her veterans. Ribbons came in three variations. Yellow with crossed swords for cavalry, red with crossed cannons for artillery and blue with stacked arms for infantry. Cavalry is the most common and infantry is the rarest.

Picked this up on eBay with a best offer. The ribbon was nearly disintegrated. Patched it up with a few strips of acid free tape and it's now stable.

Condition leaves a lot to be desired but it's hard to be too picky with an item this rare.
