Allan H. Posted May 4, 2023 Share #1 Posted May 4, 2023 I recently had a fellow collector contact me with a question about an oval sewn to an Ike jacket. The jacket dates to the late 1950’s and has never been in collector hands. The oval looks like a 506th background trimming except that the outer border is a dark green rather than the expected white. It appears to me that the oval was manufactured this way and not simply inked to the dark color. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Allan
