Hello,

I first thought this was an early image of George C. Marshall. But now I am not so sure. Unfortunately I have not been able to find this same image on the internet (yet)

The photo measures: 7 x 9 inch ( 17x22 cm appr.) and is printed on vintage AGFA Brovira paper.
Heather man in the image wears a Meritorious Unit Commendation ribbon/patch, has been deployed oversees, colonel rank. Trying to identify the collar disks; they might be for an US army officer, Branch of Service, Transportation Corps ? Unfortunately the image can’t be enlarged enough to see the disks more clearly.

Any ideas? All /any information is highly appreciated.

thanks for looking

best regards
