This yardlong is of VMSB-142 who flew mostly Dauntless dive bombers and Avengers.

I found this patch in a box of family items and not sure which family member it belonged to.

Is there any chance of getting a higher definition scan of this picture.  My grandpa was in VMSB-142,  but not sure if he was there at the time of this photo.  Thanks!
