Basic Rifleman Posted March 27, 2023 #1 Posted March 27, 2023 I've spent a good amount of time looking at threads on this forum and others trying to find another example of this badge. Has onlyone here seen another, and know for sure its intended usage? It came from the Stanley Blake collection, and appears to be from the 1930's by the screw posts. I know this likely pre-dates the AAC Flight Nurse badge or the official inception of Flight Nursing within the military. I also had the thought it could be a sweetheart piece from WWII, but rarely encounter sweetheart pieces with dual screw posts.... Any help would be most appreciated.
rathbonemuseum.com Posted May 5, 2023 #2 Posted May 5, 2023 Without the N in the center i would say this is more likely a form of Flight Surgeon cap or collar device, not a flight nurse piece.
