Sampson Medal opinions please

I just bought an old collection out of Delaware. I'm not a medal guy, but the medals were part of the collection. This one was in there. The medals were all hung in frames by their ribbons. This ribbon does not look like a Samoson type. I am guessing this medal had no ribbon, so he added this in order to hang it in the display?  The rim info is as follows: "STEN JOHANSSON" then there is what looks like a tiny "1" and " SEA." Just wondering if this is an authentic medal. Thanks.

The planchette and naming is 100% right for a Phase 1 Sampson. Its missing the top bar and original ribbon.
