cagedfalcon Posted March 19, 2023 Share #1 Posted March 19, 2023 Finally after 4+ years of asking, my friend finally released this mail back, WW1 German gas mask. The container has a great patina, but no rust, mask is soft & plyable & the lenes in mask as well as the extra ones in the top of the container are in great condition. The strap also rate high in condition. From: Sgt Richie, Co. D, 313 Engineers To: B.C. Richie, Georgetown, Illinois . Enjoy, Paul

Kurt Barickman Posted March 19, 2023 Share #4 Posted March 19, 2023 The first German item I acquired in about 1970 was an m-16 camouflage helmet with almost identical white mailing address tag. Never have seen German WWI field gear with souvenir mailing address tag before. Nice pickup. Kurt
