Honorary Promotions

In the latest copy of Air and Space Forces magazine, there's an article on honorary promotions - aviation related of course - and the myths and controversy surrounding several of them. The article focuses on Billy Mitchell, Claire Chennault, Jimmy Doolittle, and Ira Eaker. I found it a fascinating read, so I thought I'd post it here.
