The crown jewel of Hausser WW2 toys.

The Sd. Kfz. 232.

This toy first came out in 1938 in the sprayed on tri color camouflage scheme and then changed to gray and brown in 1939.

Not many of these toys were made because they were expensive and the war interrupted production.

In 1984 Hausser went out of business and sold off the contents of their factory.

The new owner found many old spare parts in the inventory including enough parts to make several 232s.

The toy pictured is one of these rare toys made from all original parts but assembled in the 1980s.

A work of military toy art at 30cm long.

The armored car and the pieces posted today are from the Dr Muesing collection.

The spray tricolor camouflage Hausser Krupp searchlight truck to pull my 88.

Note the electric lights.

The 6.5cm Hausser field bakery drawn by mules.

I have never seen Elastolin mules in a military role.

The tricolor camouflage is printed on this piece which indicates it’s made in the 1920s or early 30s.

My favorite is spray on camo.

Hausser is the company and Elastolin is the line of toy soldiers they made.
