E4B Posted February 21 Share #1 Posted February 21 Trying to fill my M-2 Jungle kit correctly. Would these bandages be appropriate? Thank you!
usmc grunt Posted February 26 Share #2 Posted February 26 Negative. Those bandages were manufactured by Mine Safety Appliances for Bell Telephone. You should return them for a refund if possible. I'll post photos of the variants that I have in my kits when I get a chance. Stand by.
usmc grunt Posted March 1 Share #3 Posted March 1 These 4 brands of 1' x 3" adhesive bandages are the most consistent that I've found in 1943 to 1945 dated M-2 kits that contained the original components. If you're looking for adhesive bandages for your WWII era M-2, these are the ones I would look for. From left to right: 1) Johnson and Johnson "ZO" Band-Aid. 2) The Seamless Rubber Company "STICKBAND" 3.) The PAC-KIT Company One-Inch 4.) Bay's One Inch "READI-BANDAGE"
