spec6-spencer Posted February 6, 2023 #1 Posted February 6, 2023 Hi, what is the green container with the top red mark for a grenade? Is that a MK13 flash bang? Did that already exist in Vietnam? Lars
Kaptainssurplus Posted February 6, 2023 #2 Posted February 6, 2023 It looks like a smoke or chemical grenade. Most likely non US, maybe British or Canadian.
spec6-spencer Posted February 7, 2023 Author #3 Posted February 7, 2023 Thanks for the info. Not British or Canadian, possibly Australian. I'll look in that direction. Lars
Linedoggie Posted February 7, 2023 #4 Posted February 7, 2023 Grenade, Hand, Smoke No.83 Mk 2 British

Both used them, just different markings.
spec6-spencer Posted February 7, 2023 Author #6 Posted February 7, 2023 Great, thank you both for the information 😀 👍
spec6-spencer Posted February 7, 2023 Author #7 Posted February 7, 2023 I could have figured it out myself. The Australians also had... British equipment 🙄
