Stony Posted February 2, 2023 #1 Posted February 2, 2023 Two post war German made glass ribbons. Made by Otto Lachmann in Bremerhaven, Friesen Str. 30. Can one assume that Ges. Gesch is the manufacturer or is that some sort of hallmark?
manayunkman Posted February 2, 2023 #2 Posted February 2, 2023 Patent pending, registered or protected by law.
Hermanus Posted February 2, 2023 #3 Posted February 2, 2023 Ges is short for Geselschaft which means Company. Why it is mentioned almost twice I don't know. Regards Herman

Regards Herman Manayunkman is spot-on: "Ges. Gesch." is for "Gesetzlich Geschützt" (protected by law).
