Vietnam Tear Gas (in Vietnam)

Hi Guys,

 

Just for interest, here is an example of CS gas used in Vietnam- i was asked if i could identify what it was for them.

 

The documentary on Khe Sanh and the hill fights was very interesting as they were finding CS gas in QUANG TRI and asked me "what it was".  Far as i can see there was a system called "gaggle?" developed where a system of choppers and fighters was used to allow choppers get in on the top of the hills to get the stuff off while the others waited on a "race track" assembly area well above.

 

I wrote this veteran to ask but he didn't reply. Somewhere in this documentary its noted. As well i watched other various documentaries on how CS gas was used by air in various types of operations.
