USMC Bugler and Gun Captain marks

Greetings. I watched these two auctions on ebay and was curious about the small labels with each listing. I had not seen these before and was curious if anyone was familiar with them. It looks like they are sewn to a cloth backing. Were these made by the manufacturer and maybe attached to bundles or rolls of the insignia or are they something that maybe a collector made up? Do you think they contributed to the final price of the auctions? I was surprised the bugler mark sold for that much, but maybe it's more uncommon that I was aware.

I got all of the Pharmacist Mates as shown except the 2nd Class. If you got it and are willing to part with it I’d love to complete the set.

When these were being sold, I don't recall seeing a 2nd class appearing from that seller.  

Any ideas on who mightve gotten the Trumpeter and Musician?
