WWI Tunic, (sort of) but even better!

A friend of mine picked up what was seemingly a WWI US army tunic, but with some very odd details.(trapezoidal pockets?) Closer inspection of the LA tailor tag named it to silent movie star Creighton Hale, and some searching found the WWI movie "Riley of the Rainbow Division" (also released in the UK as "Flappers in Khaki") from the 1920s so a welcome addition to my "war movie" uniform/prop collection! (now just trying to find a copy of the film!)
